What is the topic sentence is this short introduction?

After reading Jib Fowles “Advertising Fifteen basic appeals,” I recognized that magazines sets tones in their advertisements to help grasp the attention of their readers. The method of these experiments was used in Marshall McLuhan’s 15 types of appeals to grasp the identity of the types of advertisements seen in magazines. Upon viewing the magazine issued in July 2002 of Shape, the underlying meanings and patterns have been found in the need for attention, dominance and the need to escape. These appeals in advertisement target the many unsuspecting readers to look at products and be whisked away into feelings that would otherwise not be felt with everyday products. The writers of advertisements manipulate their readers into thinking they live a monotonous life and when purchasing and using the varying products in the magazine they will feel the need for attention, dominance or need to escape from the product.
