Is there still hope for me?

Theres a girl from work i really like and shes leaving soon and today was one of the last chances i had to talk to her in person and ask her to dinner. So I texted her to meet me during her break and i waited for a hour at the spot but she didnt show up. Due to terrible reception in the building, she didnt get it until after work. She texted me after work saying she just got it and sorry. I replied back saying "oh its fine, don't worry about it." After that she never replied. To me, it seems as if she didnt really care because she didnt ask me anything else about it. She must of had some idea i was going to ask her on a date. Is there still hope she could like me or does it seem as if she doesn't realy care?
